“We are very happy to welcome to our team Dr. DiTeodoro, who has over 35 years of experience specializing in family medicine, adult health and gerontology. He will be an outstanding asset to our fine medical staff which provides the skilled nursing care that residents and short-term rehab patients require and continues the top-quality medical care the Witherell is renowned for.”

Mastronardi explained that the Medical Director’s role is essential in liaising with clinical staff, Nursing and Administration to ensure the highest quality care, thereby lowering hospital readmission rates and guiding the clinical and nursing staff to achieve the highest practicable health outcomes for our residents.

“To date, we’ve been most fortunate to have been able to work with Dr. Walsh, a well-respected member of the local community, who has enjoyed one of the busiest practices in nephrology and internal medicine in Greenwich,” Mastronardi continued. “His training, teaching and work all complement his strong commitment to his patients and all those he cared for at the Witherell.  We’re very pleased that he’ll be staying on to work with Dr. DiTeodoro, caring for our long-term residents – many of whom have known and relied on him for years.”

Dr. DiTeodoro commented: “I am looking forward to working with the outstanding staff at The Nathaniel Witherell to provide excellent care to all those we serve.”
